A novel detection technique is introduced that offers sensitive and reliable ochratoxin A (OTA) detection. The method leverages the etching of gold nanorods (AuNRs) stabilized by hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) using the oxidized form of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethyl benzidine sulfate (TMB), creating a susceptible multicolor visual detection system for OTA. The visual detection is enabled by Mg-assisted DNAzyme catalysis combined with the catalytic hairpin assembly (CHA) signal amplification strategy.

Hyaluronic acid (HA), an important natural polysaccharide and meanwhile, an essential component of extracellular matrix (ECM), has been widely used in tissue repair and regeneration due to its high biocompatibility, biodegradation, and bioactivity, and the versatile chemical groups for modification. Specially, HA-based dynamic hydrogels, compared with the conventional hydrogels, offer an adaptable network and biomimetic microenvironment to optimize tissue repair and the regeneration process with a striking resemblance to ECM. Herein, this review comprehensively summarizes the recent advances of HA-based dynamic hydrogels and focuses on their applications in articular cartilage repair.

Osteoarthritis (OA), a common and disabling degenerative joint disease, affects millions of people worldwide and imposes a considerable burden on patients and society due to its high prevalence and economic costs. The pathogenesis of OA is closely related to the progressive degradation of articular cartilage and the accompany inflammation; however, articular cartilage itself cannot heal and modulate the inflammation due to the lack of nerves, blood vessels, and lymph-vessels. In acute intestinal ischemia, the progression of ischemia varies across different layers of intestinal tissue. We established a mouse model and used swept-source optical coherence tomography (OCT) to observe the intestinal ischemic process longitudinally in different tissue layers. Employing a method that combines asymmetric gradient filtering with adaptive weighting, we eliminated the vessel trailing phenomenon in OCT angiograms, reducing the confounding effects of superficial vessels on the imaging of deeper vasculature.

Herein, a broadband photodetector (BPD) is constructed with consistent and stable detection abilities for deep ultraviolet to near-infrared spectral range. The BPD integrates the GaN template with a hybrid organic semiconductor, PM6:Y6, via the spin-coating process, and is fabricated in the form of asymmetric metal-semiconductor-metal structure. Under an optimal voltage, the device shows consistent photoresponse within 254 to 850 nm, featuring high responsivity (10 to 60 A/W), photo-to-dark-current ratio over 10, and fast response time.

Background: Neurolytic celiac plexus block (NCPB) is a typical treatment for severe epigastric cancer pain, but the therapeutic effect is often affected by the variation of local anatomical structures induced by the tumor. Greater and lesser splanchnic nerve neurolysis (SNN) had similar effects to the NCPB, and was recently performed with a paravertebral approach under the image guidance, or with the transdiscal approach under the guidance of computed tomography.
