Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) facilitates a comprehensive examination of macular edema and associated lesions. Manual delineation of retinal fluid is labor-intensive and error-prone, necessitating an automated diagnostic and therapeutic planning mechanism. Conventional supervised learning models are hindered by dataset limitations, while Transformer-based large vision models exhibit challenges in medical image segmentation, particularly in detecting small, subtle lesions in OCT images.

The selective transition-metal catalyzed C-F bond functionalization of inexpensive industrial fluorochemicals represents one of the most attractive approaches to valuable fluorinated compounds. However, the selective C(sp )-F bond carbofunctionalization of refrigerant hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) remains challenging. Here, we report a nickel-catalyzed selective C(sp )-F bond alkylation of HFO-1234yf with alkylzinc reagents.

However, only limited methods for the efficient transformations of TFP have been reported so far. Here, we report a nickel-catalyzed dicarbofunctionalization of TFP.

Efficient methods for the dicarbofuntionalization of the cyclic alkenes 2-pyrroline and 2-azetine are limited. Particularly, the dicarbofunctionalization of endocyclic enecarbamates to achieve fluorinated compounds remains an unsolved issue. Reported here is a nickel-catalyzed trans-selective dicarbofunctionalization of N-Boc-2-pyrroline and N-Boc-2-azetine, a class of endocyclic enecarbamates previously unexplored for transition metal catalyzed dicarbofunctionalization.

Pot experiment was conducted in heavily Pb-polluted paddy soil. The transformation of Pb species in soil and roots under different levels of lime application was studied by Pb L3-edge X-ray absorption spectroscopy (Pb L3-XAS) and BCR sequential extraction.
