In flowering plants, MADS-box genes play regulatory roles in flower induction, floral initiation, and floral morphogenesis. (. ) is a traditional Chinese medicinal plant.

However, the gene responsible for regulating FFN in bitter gourd is unknown. Here, we used a gynoecious line (S156G) with low FFN as the female parent and a monoecious line (K8-201) with high FFN as the male parent to obtain F and F generations.

However, the key genes and regulatory pathways involved in low temperature response in this legume are still poorly understood. The present study analyzed the transcriptome of seedlings from two asparagus bean cultivars-Dubai bean and Ningjiang 3-using Illumina RNA sequencing (RNA-seq).

The roles of these proteins in growth, development, and responses to different abiotic stresses have been described well in various plant species, but little is available on tomatoes. Here, we identified 474 RING domains in 469 potential proteins encoded in the tomato genome.

In this study, integrative comparative analyses of transcriptomics and metabolomics data were performed to uncover the regulatory network in CI tomato fruit. Metabolite profiling analysis found that 7 amino acids, 27 organic acids, 16 of sugars and 22 other compounds had a significantly different content while transcriptomics data showed 1735 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were down-regulated and 1369 were up-regulated in cold-stored fruit.

Ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation plays a crucial role in enabling plants to effectively and efficiently cope with environmental stresses. The E3 ligases have emerged as a central component of the ubiquitination pathway and modulate plant response to abiotic stresses. However, few such studies have been reported in maize.
