Article Synopsis
  • Caucasian clover is a type of plant that is good for feeding animals and can adapt to tough conditions, but it has a hard time working with specific bacteria for better growth.
  • Researchers studied how caucasian clover starts to grow when it connects with these bacteria, using advanced methods to look at its genes and chemicals.
  • The study found important changes in certain genes and compounds that help the clover make flavonoids, which are key to improving its ability to take in nitrogen from the soil.

Cell behaviour is affected by the physical forces and mechanical properties of the cells and of their microenvironment. The viscosity of extracellular fluid - a component of the cellular microenvironment - can vary by orders of magnitude, but its effect on cell behaviour remains largely unexplored. Using bio-compatible polymers to increase the viscosity of the culture medium, we characterize how viscosity affects cell behaviour.

In this study, genetic diversity and germplasm identification of 28 alfalfa germplasm cultivars materials were evaluated by analyzing their internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2), L-F, and A-H sequences to provide the innovative reference of alfalfa varieties genetic diversity and identify research. The results showed that the fragment average length of ITS2, L-F, and A-H sorting sequences were 455.7 bp, 230.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between serum long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) X inactive specific transcript (XIST) and microRNA-30d-5p (miR-30d-5p) expression levels in type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN).

Methods: Clinical data of patients with only type 2 diabetes mellitus (pure T2DM group), DPN patients (DPN group) and healthy patients (control group) admitted to Inner Mongolia Forestry General Hospital from August 2019 to April 2022 were retrospectively analyzed, with 76 cases in each group. The serum lncRNA XIST and miR-30d-5p expression levels of each group were compared.
