Treadmills are widely used in rehabilitation and gait analysis. However, previous studies have reported differences in terms of kinematics and kinetics between treadmill and overground walking due to physical and psychological factors. The aim of this study was to analyze gait differences due to only the physical factors of treadmill walking.

Article Synopsis
  • A new three-dimensional network of carbon nanotubes (3DN-CNTs) on a silicon substrate was created to accurately detect oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) in saliva samples.
  • The 3DN-CNTs were coated with aluminum oxides for better stability and used to enhance the detection of the Cyfra 21-1 biomarker through fluorescence-based immunosensing.
  • The sensor demonstrated a reliable detection limit of 0.5 ng/mL for Cyfra 21-1, showing good correlation with existing commercial detection methods, indicating its potential for effective OSCC diagnosis.
