Far-red lights (FRs), with a wavelength range between 700 and 800 nm, have substantial impacts on plant growth, especially horticultural crops. Previous studies showed conflicting results on the effects of FRs on vegetable growth and quality. Therefore, we conducted a meta-analysis on the influence of FRs on vegetable growth, aiming to provide a comprehensive overview of their effects on the growth and nutritional indicators of vegetables.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFIn this study, a novel multi-stimulus responsive RGB fluorescent organic molecule, RTPE-NH, was designed and synthesized based on the combination of aggregation-induced emission tetraphenylethylene (TPE) luminophore and acid-responsive fluorescent molecular switch Rhodamine B. RTPE-NH exhibits aggregation-induced emission behavior, as well as UV irradiation-stimulus and acid-stimulus responsive fluorescence properties. It could emit orange-red (R), green(G), and blue(B) light in both solution and PMMA film under 365 nm excitation.
