Electrocatalytic water splitting is vital for the sustainable production of green hydrogen. Electrocatalysts, including those for the hydrogen evolution reaction at the cathode and the oxygen evolution reaction at the anode, are crucial in determining the overall performance of water splitting. Traditional methods for electrocatalyst development often rely on trial-and-error, which can be time-consuming and inefficient.

The results showed that juiciness, fat flavor, meat flavor, and saltiness were the most important dominant attributes of roasted CWS, and their dominance rate gradually decreased from the ninth month. Increased (P < 0.

They have potential teratogenic, mutagenic, and carcinogenic effects on humans, occasionally triggering high morbidity and mortality. One of the apparent concerns relates to the increasing consumption of fast food resulting in the demand for processed food without adequate consideration of the toxins they may contain.

Herein, we develop a facile wet chemical method for the synthesis of AgTe powders at room temperature and flexible AgTe/nylon thermoelectric (TE) films are prepared by vacuum-assisted filtration of the synthesized AgTe powders and then hot pressing. Because of the good crystallinity of AgTe grains and continuous grain boundaries, an optimized film exhibits a power factor of 513 μW m K at 300 K, which stands among the highest values reported for AgTe-based films to date. In addition, the film also has good flexibility.

Methods: A total of 3,084 cirrhotic patients were included and randomly divided into training and validation cohorts (n = 2,159 and 925, respectively). Patients were categorized into high and normal AG groups based on their AG values.
In this work, flexible CuS films on nylon membranes are prepared by combining a simple hydrothermal synthesis and vacuum filtration followed by hot pressing. The films consist of CuS and CuS two phases with grain sizes from nano to submicron. Doping Se on the S site not only increases the CuS content in the CuS to increase carrier concentration but also modifies electronic structure, thereby greatly improves the electrical properties of the CuS.

The close-packed vanadium oxynitride (VON) generated often necessitates the intercalation of water molecules for restructuring, rendering it more conducive for zinc ion intercalation. However, its dense structure often causes structural strain and the formation of by-products during this process, resulting in decreased electrochemical performance.

Herein, flexible films with a nominal composition of (AgCu)Se are prepared by a simple and efficient one-pot method combined with vacuum-assisted filtration and hot pressing. The thermoelectric properties of the films are regulated by both cationic doping and a dual-phase strategy via a wet chemical method.

Since the start of the twenty-first century, China's economy has grown at a high or moderate rate, and air pollution has become increasingly severe. The study was conducted using data from remote sensing observations between 1998 and 2019, employing the standard deviation ellipse model and spatial autocorrelation analysis, to explore the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of PM in Henan Province. Additionally, a multiscale geographically weighted regression model (MGWR) was applied to explore the impact of 12 driving factors (e.

Herein, we demonstrate high-surface-area nano-metal diborides as promising supports of iridium-based OER nanocatalysts for realizing efficient, low-iridium-loading PEMWE. Nano-metal diborides are prepared by a novel disulphide-to-diboride transition route, in which the entropy contribution to the Gibbs free energy by generation of gaseous sulfur-containing products plays a crucial role.

On the one hand, every low-index surface termination of 115 transition metal (M)-silicon (Si) intermetallics is enumerated, followed by cataloging of stable adsorption sites and prediction of catalytic activities on the main exposed facets. It is theoretically found that silicon atoms in silicon-rich structures (especially MSi and MSi) show a strong site-isolating effect, which can eliminate M-M-M hollow and M-M bridge sites with too strong hydrogen-binding ability and thereby provide great opportunities for the exposure of novel highly active sites (e.
