The aim of this study was to assess the ability of the combination treatment of methylprednisolone (MP) and placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells (PDMSCs) in a rabbit model of spinal cord injury (SCI). Rabbits were randomly divided into four groups: group 1 (control), group 2 (MP), group 3 (PDMSCs) and group 4 (MP + PDMSCs). In all groups, the spinal cord injury model was created by the weight drop method.
