In 2019, the newly revised Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China was issued and implemented, clearly proposing that China should establish a pharmacovigilance system. As a new traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) dosage form created in China, TCM injections have been widely used in clinic, and its pharmacovigilance has attracted much attention. In response to this situation, the project team convened a group of clinical, pharmaceutical and evidence-based medicine experts from all over the country to form an expert group, which formulated the Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine injections in strict accordance with the requirements of the group standards of the Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine.

Under the theoretical guidance of "combination of disease and syndrome, correspondence between syndrome and prescription, and dynamic space-time", 11 135 acute ischemic stroke patients were collected from hospital information system(HIS) of many 3A grade hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine. Complex network analysis was adopted to obtain the core syndrome elements in different periods of acute ischemic stroke patients, and it was found that the core syndrome elements were blood stasis syndrome, phlegm, endogenous wind, Yin deficiency, Qi deficiency, heat, hyperactivity of liver Yang, liver, and kidney of patients in hospital for the first day, and during 8-14 d in hospitalization, the core syndrome elements were blood stasis, phlegm, Yin deficiency, Qi deficiency, endogenous wind, hyperactivity of liver Yang, liver, and kidney. The data with "improved" and "cured" treatment outcomes were adopted for complex network analysis and correlation analysis to identify the Chinese and Western medicine group modules in patients with different disease conditions in different phases after hospitalization.

Repairing initial slight damage site into stable structures by engineering techniques is the leading strategy to mitigate the damage growth on large-size components used in laser-driven fusion facilities. For KH2PO4 crystals, serving as frequency converter and optoelectronic switch-Pockels cell, micro-milling has been proven the most promising method to fabricate these stable structures. However, tool marks inside repairing pit would be unavoidably introduced due to the wearing of milling cutter in actual repairing process.

It is of vital significance to conduct active postmarketing surveillance of Chinese medicine, as an active response to laws, rules and guidelines issued by the China Food and Drug Administration. These will provide technological support in evaluating adverse drug reactions (ADRs) or adverse drug events (ADEs). The expert consensus for postmarketing surveillance focuses on two surveillance designs; one is a large sample registry study to explore general population ADR/ADE characteristics, the other is a nested case-control study to explore the characteristic and mechanisms of ADRs.
