Four distinct pore-filling anion exchange membranes (PFAEMs) were prepared, and their mechanical properties, ion conductivity, and performance in anion exchange membrane water electrolysis (AEMWE) were evaluated. The fabricated PFAEMs demonstrated exceptional tensile strength, which was approximately 14 times higher than that of the commercial membrane, despite being nearly half as thin. Ion conductivity measurements revealed that acrylamide-based membranes outperformed benzyl-based ones, exhibiting 25% and 41% higher conductivity when using crosslinkers with two and three crosslinking sites, respectively.

We investigated the effectiveness and safety of SFT administered to alleviate BTcP in a real-world setting.
Materials And Methods: In this prospective, open, single-cohort study, conducted in 13 referral hospitals in South Korea, opioid-tolerant cancer patients receiving around-the-clock opioids for persistent cancer pain were enrolled if the individual had BTcP ≥ 1 episode/day during the preceding week.
Graphene's exceptional physical properties, such as high thermal conductivity and mechanical strength, have attracted significant interest for its integration in transistors and thermal interface materials. Background And Aim: Differentiating between Crohn's disease (CD) and gastrointestinal tuberculosis (GITB) is challenging. We aimed to evaluate the clinical applicability of an artificial intelligence (AI) model for this purpose.
Methods: The AI model was developed and assessed using an internal dataset comprising 1,132 colonoscopy images of CD and 1,045 colonoscopy images of GITB at a tertiary referral center.
A novel approach is introduced using nanoplasmonic microarray-based solid-phase recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) that offers high sensitivity and multiplexing capabilities for gene detection. Nanoplasmonic microarrays were developed through one-step immobilization of streptavidin/biotin primers and fine-tuning the amplicon size to achieve high plasmon-enhanced fluorescence (PEF) on the nanoplasmonic substrate, thereby improving sensitivity. The specificity and sensitivity of solid-phase RPA on nanoplasmonic microarrays was evaluated in detecting E, N, and RdRP genes of SARS-CoV-2.

This population-based cohort study aimed to investigate the association of SGLT2i use with risks of incident dementia and Parkinson disease (PD) in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Methods: This was a retrospective examination of data from a cohort of 1,348,362 participants with type 2 diabetes (≥40 years), who started antidiabetic drugs from 2014 to 2019, evaluated using the Korean National Health Insurance Service Database.
