We isolated isobavachalcone (IBC) from (AK) as an anti-obesity component. IBC dose-dependently inhibited 3T3-L1 adipocyte differentiation by down-regulating adipogenic factors. At the mitotic clonal expansion stage (MCE), IBC caused cell cycle arrest in G0/G1 with decreased expression of cell cycle-regulating proteins.
