Objective: Whether the quantity and quality of sleep are the risk factors for the development of Parkinson's disease remains unclear though it has now been confirmed that the quality of sleep among patients with Parkinson's disease is affected at the prodromal and clinical stages. Accordingly, this study aimed to examine the bidirectional causal relationships of multiple sleep-related phenotypes with Parkinson's disease using a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) method.

Methods: The summary-level data collected from the published genome-wide association studies was used for analysis.

Objectives: There are currently around 120 million rural-urban migrants in China. Elsewhere migration has been associated with increased vulnerability to mental health problems. This study was conducted to explore the mental health status and help seeking behaviours of migrant workers in Hangzhou city, Zhejiang Province, and to compare them with permanent urban and rural dwellers.

Objective: To assess health-related quality of life in hemodialysis patients and to identify related socio-demographic and clinical variables.

Methods: By a cluster sampling procedure, 181 hemodialysis patients from 4 hemodialysis centers in Hangzhou completed the SF-36 Scales with self-administration. The means and deviations for each of eight scales were calculated, the results in the samples were compared with those in general population.
