We present an analysis of the process ψ(3686)→Ω^{-}Ω[over ¯]^{+} (Ω^{-}→K^{-}Λ, Ω[over ¯]^{+}→K^{+}Λ[over ¯], Λ→pπ^{-}, Λ[over ¯]→p[over ¯]π^{+}) based on a dataset of 448×10^{6}  ψ(3686) decays collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII electron-positron collider. The helicity amplitudes for the process ψ(3686)→Ω^{-}Ω[over ¯]^{+} and the decay parameters of the subsequent decay Ω^{-}→K^{-}Λ (Ω[over ¯]^{+}→K^{+}Λ[over ¯]) are measured for the first time by a fit to the angular distribution of the complete decay chain, and the spin of the Ω^{-} is determined to be 3/2 for the first time since its discovery more than 50 years ago.

Red coloration contributes to fruit quality and is determined by anthocyanin content in peach (). Our previous study illustrated that anthocyanin accumulation is strongly regulated by light, and the effect of induction differs according to light quality. Glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) based therapy is an established treatment option for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and is recommended early in the treatment algorithm owing to glycaemic efficacy, weight reduction and favourable cardiovascular outcomes. Glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), on the other hand, was thought to have no potential as a glucose-lowering therapy because of observations showing no insulinotropic effect from supraphysiological infusion in people with T2DM. However, emerging evidence has illustrated that co-infusion of GLP-1 and GIP has a synergetic effect, resulting in significantly increased insulin response and glucagonostatic response, compared with separate administration of each hormone.

In this research, unsteady three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations are solved to simulate experiments with the Boussinesq approximation and validate the proposed numerical model for the design of a circular fin-tube heat exchanger. Unsteady time marching is proposed for a time sweeping analysis of various Rayleigh numbers. The accuracy of the natural convection data of a single horizontal circular tube with the proposed numerical method can be guaranteed when the Rayleigh number based on the tube diameter exceeds 400, which is regarded as the limitation of numerical errors due to instability.

Curcumin, a hydrophobic polyphenol of turmeric, has a variety of biological functions as an herbal supplement, but its poor gastric absorption rate is one of the major factors limiting its oral bioavailability. In the present study, we investigated the functional role of nanospheres loaded with curcumin (nCur) with regard to the motility of gut epithelial HCT116 cells and enterocyte migration along the crypt-villus axis. nCur significantly increased the motility of HCT116 cells and showed much higher migration efficacy than the curcumin.

Fluorescence probes with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) characteristics are of great importance in biomedical imaging with superior spatial and temporal resolution. However, the lack of toxicity studies and deep tissue imaging in nonhuman primates hinders their clinical translation. Here, we report the blood chemistry and histological analysis in nonhuman primates treated with AIE probes over tenfold of an intravenous dose of clinically used indocyanine green (ICG) during a study period of 36 days to demonstrate AIE probes are nontoxic.
