What Is Known And Objective: To analyse the diagnostic accuracy of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid galactomannan (BALF-GM) assay for invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) in adults to determine the optimal diagnostic cut-off by meta-analysis.
Methods: PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, China national knowledge infrastructure (CNKI), and China Wanfang databases were searched to collect relevant studies on the diagnostic value of BALF-GM for IPA from inception to March 2022. The summary receiver operating characteristic (SROC) curve was drawn to determine the optimal diagnostic cut-off.

Heterostructure phosphor composites have been used widely in the fields of targeted bio-probes and bio-imaging, hyperthermia treatment, photocatalysis, solar cells, and fingerprint identification. The structures, plasmon-enhanced luminescence and mechanism of metal/fluorophore heterostructure composites, such as core-shell nanocrystals, multilayers, adhesion, islands, arrays, and composite optical glass, are reviewed in detail. Their extended applications were explored widely since the surface plasmon resonance effect increased the up-conversion efficiency of fluorophores significantly.

Many studies have shown that there is a significant increment of miR-25 in circulating blood of patients with NSCLC. The meta-analysis aims to explore diagnostic value of miR-25 in NSCLC in Chinese population.

The aim is to explore the expression of miR-126 and the diagnosis and prognosis value of NSCLC, and to provide relevant evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Literature related to miR-126 and NSCLC were searched in PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CNKI, and Wanfang from the inception to February 2020.

Objectives: To investigate the incidence of syphilis infection and to determine the risk factors related to syphilis infection among young men who had sex with men (YMSM), which were documented for developing effective intervention to prevent sexually transmitted diseases among YMSM.
Methods: A cohort study was conducted in 8 cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Kunming,Guiyang, Chongqing, Chengdu, Urumqi and Nanning) from May to December, 2009. A total of 1 037 syphilis-negative YMSM aged 18-25 were enrolled in the cohort and the two follow-up surveys were carried out every six months.

Objective: The present study aimed to estimate the prevalence of syphilis among men who have sex with men (MSM) currently married with women in cities of China and examine the related factors for syphilis among them.
Methods: "Snowballing" sampling was used to recruit participants in 4 cities from April 2008 to August 2009. Information of participants was collected anonymously and remained confidential.
To better understand the behavioural characteristics and the factors associated with high risky behaviours among men who have sex with men and women (MSMW) with different orientation, we analyzed data from a cross-sectional survey of 600 MSMW in two large cities in China. Participants completed a questionnaire and underwent serological testing. Overall, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) prevalence was 26%.

The intervention was based on the Popular Opinion Leader framework, in which respected MSM peer leaders attempted to change MSM community norms related to sexual behavior and HIV risk. The intervention was conducted in a metropolitan city, with a matched city in the same province serving as a comparison.

Objective: To investigate the sexual partners and sexual behaviors among HIV-infected men who have sex with men (MSM) and to examine the factors related with high risky sexual behaviors.
Methods: A total of 200 HIV-positive MSM participants were recruited using "snowballing" sampling from June to December in 2010 in Shanghai. Participants completed the questionnaire which included social demographic characteristics, sexual behaviors with male and female sexual partners in the past 6 months, alcohol consumption, alkyl nitrite use, illegal substances use and depression and anxiety symptoms, etc.
To know the status of HIV infection and the correlates for HIV infection among MSMW in China. This research examined the risks for HIV in 600 MSMW in Chengdu and Guangzhou, China. Participants completed a structured behavioral risk survey and were tested for HIV status.
