This study evaluated the toxicity profiles of temozolomide in the treatment of malignant glioma as either concurrent or adjuvant chemotherapy. We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 300 malignant glioma patients treated with temozolomide in two medical institutions in Korea between 2004 and 2010. Two hundred nine patients experienced a total of 618 toxicities during temozolomide therapy.

This prospective study was performed to determine the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) followed by adjuvant chemotherapy with temozolomide (TMZ) in the treatment of patients with WHO grade III gliomas. Thirty-three adult patients with WHO grade III glioma and aged >17 years were enrolled from three institutions between 2003 and 2008. The median age was 41 years (range, 17-60 years).

Malignant primary spinal cord gliomas (PSCGs) are rare, and the optimal treatment for these lesions remains controversial. We report herein treatment outcomes of six malignant PSCGs managed with temozolomide (TMZ)-based multidisciplinary treatment. TMZ was administered concomitantly with fractionated radiotherapy for two newly diagnosed primary spinal cord glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), followed by adjuvant chemotherapy with TMZ.

Seventeen patients with pediatric DPG were enrolled between November 2004 and March 2008. The median age was eight years (range, 3-16 years); seven patients were male and ten were female.
