Herein, a novel fluorescent/colorimetric dual-signal intelligent detecting platform (F/C-BMIPs) based on ratiometric fluorescence (BA-N-GQDs/rhodamine 6G) and collaborative recognition (borate-MIPs) was developed for on-site visual quantitative detection of rutin (RT) in food samples. Furthermore, the above detection system is transferred to the test strips, and combined with the color recognition ability of smartphones, the portable and user-friendly visualization and quantitative detection of RT (F/C-BMIPs method) is realized. Under optimal conditions, the assay system has a wide linear range of 0.

Here, we present the rational design of a pinwheel-shaped three-dimensional microfluidic paper-based analytical device (3D-μPAD) for specific, sensitive and multiplexed detection of heavy metals in coastal waters. A more homogeneous permeation of fluids along the chip than common design, even under unskilled performance, has been achieved by the elaborate chip design of the hydrostatic balancing inlet port and uniformly stressed reversible sealing. With the combination of ion imprinted polymer grafted CdTe quantum-dots and fluid accumulation pad, 4 metals (Cu, Cd, Pb, and Hg) in 1 analysis and 25-fold enrichment for each metal can be simultaneously performed within 20 min, with detection limits of 0.

The conversion from rice to vegetable production widely occurs in China. However, the effects of this conversion on NO emission and the underlying mechanisms are not well understood. In the present study, 12 rice paddies (R) were selected and half of them converted to vegetable fields (V) with the following treatments: rice paddies without N-fertilizer (R-CK), rice paddies with conventional N-fertilizer (R-CN), converted vegetable fields without N-fertilizer (V-CK), and converted vegetable fields with conventional N-fertilizer (V-CN) in a randomized block design with 3 replicates.

Dynamics of soil organic carbon mineralization affected by long-term fertilizations and temperature in relation to different soil carbon fractions were investigated in paddy soils. Soil samples were collected from the plough layer of 3 long-term national experimental sites in Xinhua, Ningxiang and Taojiang counties of Hunan Province. Mineralization of soil organic C was estimated by 33-day aerobic incubation at different temperatures of 10, 20 and 30 degrees C.
