Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) of the gynecological tract are a rare, heterogenous and aggressive group of neoplasms, with high recurrence rates and poor prognosis. In this review we focus on NENs of the gynecological system emphasizing the classification, epidemiological and clinical characteristics of NENs across the gynecological tract (cervix, endometrium, ovary, vagina, and vulva), risk/prognostic factors, pathology and molecular biology (including actionable genomic mutations), imaging, staging and the most effective treatment modalities in the "standard of care" approach as well as the pipeline products. We also focused on metastatic spreading patterns of gynecological NENs.

Although 95% of solitary lung nodules are benign, it is important to distinguish which nodules have high clinical suspicion for malignancy. We aimed to compare the performance of HercepTest and PATHWAY anti-HER2 (4B5) by correlating immunohistochemistry (IHC) results with silver hybridization (SISH) in adenocarcinoma lung specimens.
Methods: A total of 148 surgically resected adenocarcinoma lung specimens were included.
Background: During embryonic development in women, a regression of temporary embryonic structures - mesonephric (Wolffian) ducts occurs. Adnexal tumors of Wolffian duct origin (FATWO) are rare.
Case Report: We presented the case of a 64-year-old female patient who was diagnosed with FATWO.
Mediastinal ectopic thyroid tissue (ETT) is rare entity, accounting for 1% of all mediastinal tumours. A 53-year-old lady, presented with cough and atypical chest pain. A computed tomography (CT) scan of chest showed a 95 mm × 75 mm × 115 mm tumour mass; CT guided biopsy of mediastinal mass showed ETT.

In order to obtain uniformed results of FNAC breast changes, the following categories are introduced: C1 (non-representative), C2 (benign), C3 (atypical), C4 (suspected) and C5 (malignant). The purpose of this study was to establish which pathological processes are most frequently diagnosed as C3 and C4 categories, which carry a malignant tumor risk.
