Paraoxonase (PON) was purified and characterized from the Merino and Kivircik sheep's blood serums by a two-step procedure using ammonium sulphate precipitation and Sepharose-4B-L-tyrosine-1-napthylamine hydrophobic interaction chromatography for the first time.
