Students' interests help determine their learning effectiveness and knowledge acquisition and retention. It is necessary to confirm whether there is a difference in the way in which content being learned is remembered by the content type. In this study, we examined the characteristics of nursing students' retention of physiological knowledge and environmental knowledge by utilizing scores obtained in class.

Universities have quickly shifted to remote learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This study compared two versions-emergency remote teaching (ERT) and conventional face-to-face class (FFC)-of a course design based on the instructional design ARCS model for effectiveness and issues. The current study comprised 46 third-year nursing students who attended an FFC course in 2019, and 56 third-year students who took the ERT version in 2020.

The adhesives contain acidic resin monomers that penetrate the dentin but can be neutralized to stop the reaction. This study aimed to improve understanding of the pH changes that occur when self-etching adhesives are mixed with dentin powder.

The adhesive/resin composite combinations used were: Absolute 2/Ceram.X(AB), Adper Prompt L-Pop/Filtek Supreme(AP), Bond Force/Estelite sigma Quick(BF), Clearfil tri-S Bond/Clearfil AP-X(CT) and G-Bond/Gradia Direct(GB).

S-PRG filler was mixed with either solution at 1000:1, 100:1, 10:1, and 1:1 ratios by weight. By means of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy and a fluoride electrode, elements released from S-PRG filler were identified to be Al, B, Na, Si, Sr, and F.

Methods: The labial enamel surfaces of bovine mandibular incisors were wet ground with #180-grit, #600-grit and #2000-grit silicon carbide paper. The adhesives were applied to the ground enamel, and then rinsed with acetone and distilled water.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the development of shear bond strength of resin composites using self-etching primer systems. Four different types of self-etching primer systems with different combinations of their recommended resin composites were used. Bovine incisors were mounted in self-curing resin and the facial surfaces were wet ground on #600-SiC paper to expose the dentin.

Four commercially available flowable resins were employed. For volumetric shrinkage measurement, resin pastes were inserted into a mold (2 mm in height, 4 mm in diameter) and put into a water-filled dilatometer.

Adhesive was applied to a flat dentin surface, and resin composite was bonded according to the manufacturers' instructions. After 24 h storage in distilled water at 37 degrees C, hourglass-shaped specimens were produced.
