Validation of Urdu Interaction with Disabled Persons scale.

This study developed a valid and reliable Urdu language measure that can be used for assessing attitudes toward persons with physical disability in Pakistan. The Interaction with Disabled Persons scale (IDP), which measures attitudes of discomfort with interaction with disabled people, is a scale with established validity and reliability in English and other languages. An Urdu translation was back-translated to English and then reviewed by a committee to develop cultural validity.
