This study aims to evaluate and compare the mechanical resistance, fatigue behavior and fracture behavior of different CAD/CAM materials for implant crowns. Eighty-eight implant crowns cemented-screwed with four sample groups: two monolithic G1 Zirconia (control) and G3 composite and two bi-layered G2 customized zirconia/composite and G4 prefabricated zirconia/composite. All static and dynamic mechanical tests were conducted at 37 °C under wet conditions.

Autotransplanted teeth in the maxillary anterior region should be restored or reshaped as soon as possible for functional and esthetic reasons as well as the well-being of the patient. However, such tooth restorations are frequently not carried out immediately after tooth transplantation because the process could have a negative impact on the healing process. The development of a simple, immediate, and atraumatic esthetic interim restoration would be of great benefit to both the clinician and patient and address all the concerns caused by immediately preparing the tooth postoperatively and cementing a permanent restoration.

Statement Of Problem: Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) has been advocated to replace metal components in dentistry. Although PEEK is a high-performance polymer with a white color, adequate biological response, and resistance to fracture, data to support PEEK as an alternative material for implant abutments are lacking.

Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to assess the mechanical and functional properties of PEEK implant abutments as a nonmetallic alternative to titanium abutments, which presents esthetic limitations and greater difficulty to customize clinically.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the WaveOne Gold and One Shape New Generation systems regarding the bacterial removal from root canals infected with Enterococcus faecalis by comparing them to the conventional WaveOne and One Shape systems. Objective: To evaluate the effect of number of uses, angle and radius of curvature and type of instrument on the fracture of ProTaper rotary instruments when used by undergraduate students.

Study Design: Three hundred and seventy-six molars, with a total of 1114 root canals, extracted were instrumented by undergraduate students using ProTaper instruments according to the manufacturer´s recommendations. When fracture occurred, data were collected concerning the number of uses, type of instrument, level of fracture, angle and radius of curvature.
