Fusobacterium nucleatum as a prognostic marker of colorectal cancer in a Japanese population.

Background: Accumulating evidence shows an overabundance of Fusobacterium nucleatum in colorectal tumor tissues. However, the correlation between the absolute copy number of F. nucleatum in colorectal cancer tissues and colorectal cancer progression is unclear from previous reports.

Rotational osteotomy at the diaphysis of the radius in the treatment of congenital radioulnar synostosis.

Four cases of congenital radioulnar synostosis in three patients were treated by rotational osteotomy of the distal radius. The diaphysis of the radius was osteotomized transversely, and then the forearm was supinated manually. Following surgery, the palm was immobilized in a fully supinated position by a long-arm cast.
