Solar radio emission as a disturbance of radiomobile networks.

This paper analyses the effects of solar radio emissions in the radiomobile context, for the first time leveraging massive European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) 3rd Generation Partnership Program (3GPP) Minimization of Drive Test (MDT) radio measures produced by 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) terminals and by 4G LTE Base Station cells. A method to study solar noise effects starting from radiomobile 3GPP standard MDT measures is illustrated and correlated with the excellent 10.7 cm (2800 MHz) indicator of solar activity (National Research Council Canada).

Spontaneous Bile Leak in a Patient Without Recent Abdominal Surgery or Trauma.

Bile leaks are a rare occurrence most often seen as a complication of cholecystectomy. Other less common etiologies include endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC), liver surgery, percutaneous drainage of liver abscesses, living donor hepatectomy, and non-iatrogenic abdominal trauma. In this case study, we present a 67-year-old female with morbid obesity who presented with abdominal pain and was diagnosed with a spontaneous bile leak.

The favela where I live: the territory from the perspective of young people.

This article examines a set of photographic productions created by six young people, living in a favela on the outskirts of São Paulo, seeking to reflect on their perception of the territory in which they live. A large part of the population of São Paulo resides in favelas, an urban phenomenon found on the outskirts of large metropolises. Despite the difficulty in accessing basic services, such as health, safety, culture and education, the favela is also a fertile space that nurtures feelings of belonging, solidarity and resistance in its residents.

Evaluation of FunFRIENDS program in prevention of anxiety in Brazilian children: a randomized controlled pilot trial.

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of the FunFRIENDS protocol on anxiety symptoms, internalizing problems and prosocial behavior in 4- to 5-year old children. Participated of this study 43 children with an allocation ratio of 1:1 between groups (Intervention Group [IG], N = 21; Control Group [CG], N = 22) from a public school in the city of Sao Paulo participated in the study. Behaviors were evaluated by using standardized questionnaires (PAS, CBCL, SDQ, SCBE) assessing the behavioral profile of the children at three different periods; baseline (T0), one month (T1) and three months (T2) after the intervention.

In this scenario, the current study aimed to identify the impact or effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescents' health. This is a scoping literature review based on the following databases: Web of Science, CINAHL, PsycINFO, SciELO, and PUBCOVID19.

IL6, IL8, and IL10 in the distinction of malignant ovarian neoplasms and endometriomas.

Problem: Studies have shown a relationship between endometriosis and ovarian cancer. Our aims were to evaluate and compare the dosages of cytokines IL-2, IL-5, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, and TNF-α in serum, intracystic fluid, and peritoneal fluid of patients with ovarian endometrioma, malignant and benign ovarian neoplasms, and non-neoplastic ovarian tumors; to verify if there is a correlation between the values of these cytokines between ovarian endometrioma and ovarian malignancy; and to determine the best cut-off point for serum cytokines that can be used to differentiate patients with ovarian malignancy and endometrioma.

Method Of Study: The concentrations of cytokines were quantified by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis test with the Dunn post-test.

We studied electromagnetic radiation onset and propagation at optical frequencies in myelinated axons, under the assumption that ion channel currents in the node of Ranvier behave like an array of nanoantennas emitting in the wavelength range from 300 to 2500 nm.

Role of Intracystic Cytokines and Nitric Oxide in Ovarian Neoplasms.
