A Tale of 2 Morbid Complications in a Patient With Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy.

A 66-year-old female was found hypotensive in ventricular tachycardia (V-tach). Workup confirmed septic shock and takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TCM) with left ventricular (LV) thrombus. Despite the initiation of anticoagulation therapy, she developed an embolic stroke on day 14.
