Background: The care model for supporting elderly people living independently at home relies on the informal and formal assistance of caregivers. Information and communication technology (ICT) offers new approaches for informal care services for this group.

Methods: A longitudinal observational pilot study was carried out in home services in France.

Comparative Acceptability and Perceived Clinical Utility of Monitoring Tools: A Nationwide Survey of Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Background: Objective control of intestinal inflammation during inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is becoming the main driver for medical treatment. However, the monitoring tools-related burden remains poorly investigated. We aimed to evaluate their comparative acceptability and utility according to patients with IBD.

Carbimazole induced eosinophilic granulomatous vasculitis localized to the stomach.

Vasculitis associated with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies has been reported in patients treated with anti-thyroid drugs and especially propylthiouracil. We report here a case of granulomatous eosinophilic vasculitis mimicking gastric neoplasm and peripheral eosinophilia in a 27-year-old man who was treated with carbimazole for 5 months for Graves' disease. Clinical and morphologic features resolved within 2 months after stopping the drug, suggesting a causative role for the drug.

[Peritoneal carcinomatosis and hepatic infiltration related to the dissemination of a micropapillary cell carcinoma of the bladder].

Most cases of liver failure related to the infiltration of the liver by neoplastic cells are associated with hematological neoplasia or small cell carcinoma of the lung. We report case of liver failure related to a rare infiltration of the liver by a micropapillary bladder carcinoma. Micropapillary bladder cell carcinomas have recently been isolated among bladder tumors.

[Squamous cell carcinoma of the celiac area. Report of a case and review of the literature].

Primary squamous cell carcinoma of the pancreas or of the stomach is rare and represents a controversial entity. The unusual case of a 50-year-old woman with a large squamous cell carcinoma located in the celiac area and involving liver, stomach and pancreas, is reported here. The patient underwent complete surgical resection.
