Detection of allergen-specific antibody-secreting cells in dogs by ELISPOT.

Current laboratory tests are unable to distinguish healthy from allergic dogs. Unlike serum antibody responses, circulating antibody-secreting cells (ASC) are temporarily induced after each contact with the antigen.
