This paper describes a dataset of residential electricity household and heat pump load profiles, measured in 38 single-family houses in Northern Germany. We provide data per household of apparent, active and reactive power (W), voltage (V), current (A) and the power factor (no unit) in 10 seconds to 60 minutes temporal resolution from May 2018 to the end of 2020. We validated the dataset both in itself, comparing different measurements that should produce the same results, and externally to standard load profiles and found no major inconsistencies.

Ulcerative colitis is the most frequent inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and although pharmacological therapy has improved, colectomy rates reach up to 15%. The objective of this study was to determine anastomotic leakage rates and treatment after taIPAA as well as short- and long-term pouch function.

Anatomical limitations in the male and obese pelvis with resulting pathological shortcomings and high conversion rates were stimuli for alternative approaches. The transanal approach for TME (TaTME) was introduced to overcome these limitations.

Background And Study Aims: Recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy (RLNP) is a potential complication of anterior discectomy and fusion (ACDF). There still is substantial disagreement on the actual prevalence of RLNP after ACDF as well as on risk factors for postoperative RLNP. The aim of this study was to describe the prevalence of postoperative RLNP in a cohort of consecutive cases of ACDF and to examine potential risk factors.

The present study evaluated the incidence of postoperative hypoparathyroidism after near-total (NTT) versus TT in GD.
Methods/design: In a multicenter prospective randomized controlled clinical trial, patients with GD were randomized intraoperatively to NTT or TT.
Pancreatic malformations usually represent a surgical challenge, however, depending on the anatomical location even complex procedures such as pancreatic head resection may be facilitated. In a 78-year-old-woman the unique observation of a missing pancreatic isthmus was made during pylorus-preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Resection of the pancreatic head could be performed without the usual cross-section at the isthmus, the pancreatic remnant was drained by pancreaticogastrostomy.
