Background: Although clinical tests can detect posterolateral rotatory instability (PLRI) of the elbow, the ability of ultrasound to evaluate PLRI has not been assessed.
Objective: To determine whether increasing stages of posterolateral rotatory subluxation of the elbow could be assessed accurately with a sonographic posterolateral rotatory stress test.
Design: Cadaveric study.
Background: Ischiofemoral impingement is caused by compression of the quadratus femoris muscle between the ischial tuberosity and lesser trochanter. The evaluation of ischiofemoral impingement includes radiologic studies to evaluate the ischiofemoral space dimensions. No prior study has evaluated the effect of femoral position on ischiofemoral space dimensions.

Objectives: The primary purpose of this investigation was to describe and validate sonographically guided techniques for distal biceps peritendinous/intratendinous injections using a cadaveric model.
Methods: A single experienced operator completed 18 sonographically guided distal biceps peritendinous injections and 15 sonographically guided distal biceps intratendinous injections in 18 unembalmed cadaveric elbow specimens (11 male and 7 female; age, 53-100 years; body mass index, 19.4-42.
