Zooplankton exported from lentic systems provision lotic systems with easily captured, consumed, and assimilated prey items. Previous studies have demonstrated that the community composition of zooplankton exports (CCZE) vary over time, which introduces temporal differences in lotic resource availability (zooplankton prey) in downstream habitats. In the study presented here, we monitored variation in CCZE from a polymictic reservoir outfall in response to physical-chemical and atmospheric conditions bi-hourly over three different 24-h periods.

Physical medicine rehabilitation interventions for post-acute traumatic brain injury (TBI) are heterogeneous and subject to differences based on multi-disciplinary treatment plans [1]. There is no universal knowledge representation (KR) model for TBI rehabilitation which impedes data collection, aggregation, computation, and sharing. This paper describes results of an analysis of the National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) TBI "Common Data Elements" (CDE) clinical data standardization set.

Gypsy moths infected by a baculovirus climb to the top of trees to die, liquefy, and "rain" virus on the foliage below to infect new hosts. The viral gene that manipulates climbing behavior of the host was identified, providing evidence of a genetic basis for the extended phenotype.

Herein, we provide evidence that plant-mediated alteration of the PM contributes to the well-documented inhibition of fatal infection by Autographa californica multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV) of Heliothis virescens F. larvae fed cotton foliage.

The reproducibility of the microjet printing process is excellent for microdot (i.e.
