Pancreatic ischemia with necrosis is an extremely rare complication of splenic angioembolization (SAE). A 48-year-old male with a grade IV blunt splenic injury underwent angiography which demonstrated no active bleeding or pseudoaneurysm. Proximal SAE was performed.
