Acupuncture with an Aftermath A 70-year-old female patient presents with a 6-hour history of left sided thoracic pain and acutely exacerbated cough in the emergency department. Earlier in the morning she had undergone acupuncture therapy. The clinical examination revealed tachypnea with diminished breath sounds on the left side and hyperresonance to percussion.
