Objective: The aim was to compare digital and conventional panoramic imaging techniques for identifying high-risk radiographic markers associated with mandibular nerve (MN) injury after mandibular third molar (M3) removal.
Study Design: The study used a retrospective cohort model. The predictor variable was the presence or absence of radiographic signs associated with MN exposure during M3 removal.
Implants are becoming increasingly popular as a means of restoring edentulous spaces. However, many patients still cannot afford implants or do not have enough bone to support them. For these patients, removable partial dentures are an option for restoring function to their dentition.
