Objective: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of the low-profile Acandis Acclino microstent for embolization of recurrent and residual intracranial aneurysms.
Methods: Consecutive patients treated with the Acclino for aneurysm remnants at three German neurovascular centers were enrolled. The technical success, complications, angiographic and clinical outcome were investigated.
Purpose: Low-profile intracranial stents are characterized by a miniaturized design that enables deployment via a 0.0165″ or 0.017″ internal diameter microcatheter, which is typically intended for coil delivery.
