Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator-1α (PGC-1α) is a transcription protein which can regulate mitochondrial biogenesis, and the aim of this study is to investigate whether PGC-1α is involved in AM1241-induced anti-inflammation in N9 microglial cells. Methods: Velocity vector imaging was performed in 12 control rats and 15 rats with streptozotocin-induced diabetic cardiomyopathy 12 weeks after streptozotocin injection. The segmental radial displacement, velocity, acceleration, and percent wall thickening were measured at the mid-left ventricular (LV) level.
