A case of overseas imported quartan malaria was reported in Weihai City. The patient worked in Africa for many years, had no blood transfusion history, and had not been to malaria endemic regions of China. In approximately half a month after returning from Africa, the patient appeared suspected malaria symptoms, such as irregular fever, sweating, and headache.
