Although cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is known to be induced by autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and antiphospholipid syndrome, CVT caused by Sjögren's syndrome (SS) is scarcely reported in the medical literature. Since the first report of SS-induced CVT in 1994, only five cases have been reported, and the clinicopathological features of the disease are not well documented. We herein present a case report of a 41-year-old woman who was diagnosed with SS-induced CVT and perform a literature review of six cases of SS-induced CVT with a discussion of the pathogenesis, features of clinic symptoms, treatment, and prognosis of SS-associated CVT.
