Our recent research on type-I quadrature parity-time (PT) symmetry, utilizing an open twin-beam system, not only enables observing genuine quantum photonic PT symmetry amid phase-sensitive amplification (PSA) and loss in the presence of Langevin noise but also reveals an additional classical-to-quantum (C2Q) transition in noise fluctuations. In contrast to the previous setup, our exploration of an alternative system assuming no loss involves a type-II PSA-only scheme. This scheme facilitates dual opposing quadrature-PT symmetry, offering a comprehensive and complementary comprehension of C2Q transitions and PT-enhanced quantum sensing with optimal performance in the symmetry unbroken region.

Additionally, while a robust association has been reported between temperature and cardiomyopathy (CM), evidence of the impact of DTR is relatively limited. Here, we determined whether an association exists between DTR and CM hospitalisations in vulnerable populations.

Chronic inflammation is a critical driver of OC progression, contributing to immune evasion, tumor growth, and metastasis. Inflammatory cytokines, including IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-8, as well as key signaling pathways such as nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB) and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), are upregulated in OC, promoting a tumor-promoting environment.

Cuproptosis is a newly recognized copper-induced cell death mechanism. Our study explored the novel role of cuproptosis-related genes (CRGs) in AS, focusing on immune cell infiltration and molecular clustering.

Methods: This cross-sectional observational study involved patients receiving MHD treatment. Data were collected on coronary angiography performed in our hospital from February 2023 to February 2024.
Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a progressive condition that arises from diverse etiological factors, resulting in structural alterations and functional impairment of the kidneys. We aimed to establish the Anoikis-related gene signature in CKD by bioinformatics analysis.
Methods: We retrieved 3 datasets from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database to obtain differentially expressed genes (DEGs), followed by Gene Ontology (GO), Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis, Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) and Gene Set Variation Analysis (GSVA) of them, which were intersected with Anoikis-related genes (ARGs) to derive Anoikis-related differentially expressed genes (ARDEGs).

Objective: To investigate the potential and evolving trends in fluid management for patients with sepsis, utilizing a bibliometric approach.
Methods: Scholarly articles pertaining to fluid therapy for sepsis patients were extracted from the Web of Science (WoS) database as of June 1, 2024. The R software package, "Bibliometrix," was utilized to scrutinize the primary bibliometric attributes and to construct a three-field plot to illustrate the relationships among institutions, nations, and keywords.
Objective: Although pegylated interferon α-2b (PEG-IFN α-2b) therapy for chronic hepatitis B has received increasing attention, determining the optimal treatment course remains challenging. This research aimed to develop an efficient model for predicting interferon (IFN) treatment course.
Methods: Patients with chronic hepatitis B, undergoing PEG-IFN α-2b monotherapy or combined with NAs (Nucleoside Analogs), were recruited from January 2018 to December 2023 at Tianjin Third Central Hospital.
Background: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly aggressive subtype of breast cancer, characterized by frequent recurrence, metastasis, and poor survival outcomes despite chemotherapy-based treatments. This study aims to investigate the mechanisms by which Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) modulates the tumor immune microenvironment in TNBC, utilizing CiteSpace and bioinformatics analysis.
Methods: We employed CiteSpace to analyze treatment hotspots and key TCM formulations, followed by bioinformatics analysis to identify the main active components, targets, associated pathways, and their clinical implications in TNBC treatment.
Introduction: Breast cancer (BC) is the most prevalent malignant tumor in women, with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) showing the poorest prognosis among all subtypes. Glycosylation is increasingly recognized as a critical biomarker in the tumor microenvironment, particularly in BC. However, the glycosylation-related genes associated with TNBC have not yet been defined.

As the first barrier of the body's defense, innate immunity plays a key role in tumor immune surveillance and anti-tumor response, in which type I/III interferon (IFN) is an important mediator with significant antiviral and anti-tumor functions. 5-methylcytosine (m5C) modification of RNA is a key epigenetic regulation that promotes the expression of CRC oncogenes and immune-related genes.
