[The treatment of patients with arthrosis deformans of the large joints using interstitial electrostimulation].

The authors propose a new kind of conservative treatment-the intratissue electrostimulation when electric current is brought directly to the pathology focus. An analysis of results of clinical and biomechanical examination of 72 patients of the main and control groups allowed a conclusion to be made concerning high effectiveness of the new kind of therapy which makes the terms of treatment 2 times shorter. Mechanisms of curative effects reestablishing blood circulation and metabolism in the joints are studied.

[Biomechanical evaluation of the functional state of the locomotor system and the effectiveness of surgical treatment of children with Legg-Perthes disease].

For the first time in the patients with Perthes' disease (stages II-III) the authors have evaluated the functional state of the locomotor system in dynamics on the basis of a complex study which included a roentgenobiomechanical analysis of the loads on the hip joint (39 children) after F. Pauwels technique (1959), radio pelvimetry (75 children) after Kh. Z.

[Rehabilitative treatment in old and inveterate fracture-dislocations of the bones of the feet].

The authors present the dynamics of the clinico-roentgenologic and biomechanical results of the treatment of 57 patients with late and inveterate dislocation fractures of the bones of the foot using the method of distraction. The analysis of the economic damage has demonstrated that a continuous disturbance in the working ability of the patients with this pathology causes an economic damage to the state averaging 7043.3 +/- 259.
