Perovskite materials have garnered significant attention within a very short period of time by achieving competitive efficiency. In addition, this material demonstrated intriguing optoelectronic properties and versatile applications. Although they have confirmed amazing efficiency in solar cells at the laboratory scale, mass commercial manufacturing of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is still a problem due to their poor longevity.

Synbiotics, which synergistically enhance the development and activity of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract, play a crucial role in the growth and production of chickens. However, their effects on lymphoid organs and immunity in Naked Neck (NN) chickens are not well understood. This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of synbiotics on growth performance, histo-architecture of lymphoid organs, hematology, serum biochemistry, and immunity in NN chickens in Bangladesh.

A total of nine sampling locations were selected, resulting in 18 samples (12 water and 6 soil) collected during the summer and winter seasons. The water samples were analyzed at the Environmental Engineering Laboratory, while the soil samples were analyzed at the Soil Resource Development Institute (SRDI).

Methods And Results: In this study, EPS was isolated and characterized from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain BDIFST240014, a Gram-positive bacterium known for its robust EPS production. Taxonomic classification was confirmed through 16 S rRNA gene sequencing.
Background: Fowl adenovirus (FAdV) is a globally distributed virus that inflicts significant economic losses on the poultry industry. The study aimed at pathological investigation, molecular characterization, isolation, and pathogenicity determination of FAdV from commercial poultry.
Methods: A total of 86 liver samples were collected from 80 commercial chicken farms.
Contradictory results have been reported about the effects of liver diseases on the blood-brain barrier (BBB) permeability to markers. For instance, both an increase and no change in the BBB permeability to BBB markers sodium fluorescein and Evans blue have been reported in experimental cholestasis induced by bile duct ligation (BDL) in rats. These contradictory effects might be due to inherent limitations of these markers and/or methodological issues.

Objective: The primary objective of this study is to present a comprehensive overview of the EVAR service in a district-level vascular centre and to compare it with the national outcome to outline a service model for other district general hospitals.
Method: Patients who underwent an EVAR procedure from 2015 over seven years were included.
Inhomogeneous waveguides with corrugations have the potential to increase the fundamental mode brightness of edge-emitting lasers as compared to straight waveguides. The corrugations partly suppress the high-order lateral modes of the lasers. The impact of the shape and size of rectangular and triangular types of corrugations on the lasing performance is compared for the first time, and an optimized design is presented.

Anthocyanin content is a crucial determinant of apple skin blush. Reflective groundcovers are a preharvest management strategy that can improve apple skin blush, but integrative studies assessing its effects at the environmental, physiological, gene, and metabolite levels are lacking.

Methods: This prospective observational study analysed 805 confirmed dengue cases during August-December 2023. Data on demographic, clinical and laboratory profiles, as well as outcomes, were gathered using a structured questionnaire.
Bakanae disease has become a serious threat for sustainable rice production in Asian countries including Bangladesh. species are important seedborne pathogens that cause bakanae disease of rice. Typical bakanae symptomatic samples were collected through a series of sampling conducted in several districts of Bangladesh for 4 consecutive years from 2019 - 2022.

The dataset is consisted of 232 panoramic dental radiographs, categorized into six major classes: healthy teeth, caries, impacted teeth, infections, fractured teeth, and broken-down crowns/roots (BDC/BDR). The images were collected from three renowned private clinics in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with the help of an experienced dental practitioner who ensured the confidentiality of patients and high-quality data acquisition using a 64-megapixel Android phone camera.

Recurrent abdominal pain and discomfort in association with abnormal defecation in the absence of structural abnormality of the gut is the key feature of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Faecal biomarker may be used a precise tool in the differentiation of IBD and IBS.

In both academic and pharmaceutical research, the development of COX-2 selective drugs as anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor therapeutics is a key focus. Traditional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) have ulcerogenic, gastrointestinal adverse effects, and myocardial infarction risk, which resulted in their limited applications.
