Venous aneurysms are rare lesions, they have been reported in most venous territories. Abdominal location is unusual. A 61-year-old man presented with chest pain and dyspnea attributed to pulmonary embolism.

Incidence of deep venous thrombosis in patients with erysipelas of the leg: prospective study of 30 cases in an emergency department.

The treatment of lower limb erysipelas is based on anti-streptococcal antibiotherapy. The indication of adjuvant anticoagulant therapy is not clear because of the lack of data about the incidence of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in these patients. We performed a prospective study using a colour Doppler vein exploration combined with ultrasonography within the first 48 h, with evaluation of clinical probability of DVT according to the Wells score to assess the incidence of DVT in patients with erysipelas of the lower limb.

[Bronchiectasis in rheumatoid arthritis. High resolution computed pulmonary tomography].

To evaluate the prevalence of bronchiectasis in rhumatoid arthritis (RA) we have study thirty patients (24 women and 6 men), with a mean age of 45,2 years. All patients have a RA with a follow up of 5,84 years, positive rhumatoid factor were found in 22 cases. All patients have had high resolution computed pulmonary tomography, study of clinical, radiological and spirometry parameters.

[Imaging in the screening and diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma in cirrhosis liver in Tunisia. A series of 30 cases].

Unlabelled: The aim of our study is to expose a practical screening and diagnosis strategy of HCC occuring in cirrhosis liver, which is nowadays a health public matter in Tunisia.

Methods: HCC routine screening in cirrhosis liver has been conducted every 6 months using a combination of abdominal sonography and serum alpha-foetoprotein levels. PCUS, CT scan or MRI have been performed each time a focal liver lesion was discovered in US, or in case of elevated serum alpha-foetoprotein levels.

[Meningioma of the jugular foramen with a large cervical extension].

Meningioma rarely gives an extra cranial extension. The authors report a case of meningioma of the jugular foramen reaching the left side of the neck. Epidemiological and clinical aspects of meningiomas of the neck are presented.

[Pituitary and ovarian mass syndrome in primary hypothyroidism].

Introduction: Hyperprolactinemia and a pituitary mass syndrome can occur in patient with primary hypoyhroidism. In young women, hypothyroidism can be associated with ovarian cysts.
