The experience with surgical treatment of 89 patients with recurrent inguinal hernia is presented. A method for hernioplasty with the use of the pyramidal muscle transferred for covering the inguinal space is described. In 37 patients, no hernia recurrence and injury to the femoral vessels were revealed.
