Objectives: The aim of this study was to document if stones at the lower ureter alter the micturition capability of the patients and to investigate whether endoscopic removal of these stones restores normal urinary flow rates or not in the 3 months of follow-up.

Methods: Forty patients with lower ureteral stone (group 1) and 20 control subjects with proximal ureteral stone (group 2) were enrolled into the study. All patients underwent uroflowmetry testing before and 3 months after the treatment for endoscopic stone removal.

Penile foreign body injection is an uncommon entity produced by penile paraffin, mineral oil, and vaseline injections for the purpose of penile enlargement. Generally, penile subcutaneous and glandular injections for penile augmentation are performed by a nonmedical person, under unacceptable conditions. Purpose: We evaluated the impact of varicocelectomy on the sperm retrieval success rate using microsurgical testicular sperm extraction and intracytoplasmic sperm injection in men with clinical varicocele and nonobstructive azoospermia.

Materials And Methods: The study included 96 men with complete nonobstructive azoospermia with a history of clinical unilateral or bilateral varicocele. Of the patients 66 previously underwent successful varicocelectomy and 30 had any grade of varicocele at sperm extraction.

Despite high incidence rates of prostate cancer, the genetic basis of this disease is not well understood. An association between risk and the CYP1A1 polymorphism has been noticed for several cancers, and the GSTM1 gene is one of the most extensively studied genes concerning polymorphism and cancer risk. These gene polymorphisms may play a role in the development prostate cancer (PCa) in Turkish populations; we therefore assessed the association of CYP1A1 and GSTM1 polymorphisms in patients with PCa in our population through a case-control study.
