Introduction: The aim of this study is to determine the clinical, paraclinical, therapeutic and outcome aspects of drug resistant patients with epilepsy in our region and consequently to discuss methods that may improve the management of these patients.
Patients And Methods: This paper presents a retrospective study of 25 adult patients that were followed for focal drug resistant epilepsy in epileptology unit of the University Hospital of Fez, Morocco.
Results: This study recorded 25 patients including 48% of males and 52% of females.
Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is a rare origin of stroke, the clinical presentation and etiologies vary. The prognosis is shown to be better than arterial thrombosis. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and MR Venograpgy (MRV) are currently important tools for the diagnosis.

Neurologic signs and symptoms may represent the initial presentation of AIDS in 10-30% of patients. Movement disorders may be the result of direct central nervous system infection by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or the result of opportunistic infections. Observation: We report the case of a 20-year-old woman with an uneventful history who was admitted with intracranial hypertension syndrome which had developed over the last four months in association with bilateral decline of visual acuity. Physical examination at admission revealed stage II papilloedema and absence of any focal neurological signs.
Introduction: Severe pulmonary tuberculosis may be complicated by deep vein thrombosis due to a state of hypercoagulability.
Observation: We report a case of pulmonary miliary tuberculosis associated with cerebral venous thrombosis and multiple intracranial tuberculomas. A 65-year-old woman developed a confusional syndrome one week after starting treatment for pulmonary military tuberculosis.
Takayasu's disease is a non specific, chronic, inflammatory panarteritis. It affects the aorta, its chief collaterals and the pulmonary arteries. Clinical manifestations depend on the site and the severity of the occlusive vascular lesion.
