Objectives: We sought to investigate the prognostic roles of PVR derived by echocardiography in patients with sTR undergoing tricuspid annuloplasty (TA).
Methods: Data from 322 TA patients [median age (interquartile range): 65.
Objective: Heart failure is a leading cause of death and the most common diagnosis leading to hospitalization. Its awareness is lower than that of other cardiovascular diseases, both in the general population and among patients with heart failure (HF). This study aimed to establish the current level of knowledge about HF in patients with HF with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and mildly reduced ejection fraction (HFmrEF) in Türkiye.

NAFLD is related to cardiovascular outcomes in diabetes. We aimed to investigate the relationship between diabetic complications and NAFLD fibrosis score (NFS) and Fibrosis-4 score (FIB-4).

Objectives: This study aimed to determine the mediator of social support and the moderator role of fear of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the relationship between self-efficacy and FOC in pregnant women.
Materials And Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 422 pregnant women registered in 18 family health centers.
Background: Boron effects on reproduction and growth have been extensively studied in animals. Electrodermal activity (EDA) reflects the activity of eccrine sweat glands stimulated by the release of acetylcholine from sympathetic nerves.
Aim: In the presen study, it was aimed to examine the effect of boron, which was turned into cream, on sweat glands.
Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most prevalent cardiac arrhythmia worldwide and is associated with an increased risk of thromboembolism, ischemic stroke, impaired quality of life, and mortality. The latest research that shows the prevalence and incidence of AF patients in Türkiye was the Turkish Adults' Heart Disease and Risk Factors study, which included 3,450 patients and collected data until 2006/07.The Turkish Real Life Atrial Fibrillation in Clinical Practice (TRAFFIC) study is planned to present current prevalence data, reveal the reflection of new treatment and risk approaches in our country, and develop new prediction models in terms of outcomes.

The aim of the study was to determine the frequency and associated factors of NAFLD in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients according to the ultrasound examination and noninvasive hepatic fibrosis indices.
Material And Methods: 316 patients who were followed up in the Internal Medicine Diabetes clinic, over the age of 18, diagnosed with T2DM were included retrospectively.

Objective: Multimerin-2 is an adhesion substrate between pericytes and basal membranes during angiogenesis. The present study aimed to assess the relationship between serum Multimerin-2 and coronary collateral flow grade.
Patients And Methods: Between April 2022 and August 2022, 88 patients with subacute ST-elevation myocardial infarction were included in this study.
Aim: We aimed to evaluate the awareness of pneumococcal vaccination (PCV13, PPSV23) in general cardiology outpatient clinics and impact of physicians' recommendations on vaccination rates.
Methods: This was a multicenter, observational, prospective cohort study. Patients over the age of 18 from 40 hospitals in different regions of Turkey who applied to the cardiology outpatient clinic between September 2022 and August 2021 participated.
Objectives: Sleep deprivation (SD) has been found to be associated with an increased incidence of adverse cardiovascular disease (CVD) events. The aim of this study was to investigate whether or not acute SD has a pathological effect on the geometry and the systolic and diastolic functions of the right and left heart chambers by standard transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and speckle tracking echocardiography (STE) in healthy individuals with acute SD.
Methods: Nurses with no history of acute or chronic diseases underwent TTE and STE after working a night shift, a sleepless period of 24 h and 7 days of normal sleep after the night shift.
Background The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index and peripheral artery disease. Methodology This was a single-center, observational, retrospective study that included patients evaluated with color Doppler ultrasonography. A total of 440 individuals, 211 peripheral artery patients and 229 healthy controls, were included in the study.

Urolithiasis is a highly prevalent global disease with substantially increasing incidence in the last two decades. Data from the literature suggests that 26%-50% of patients will have a recurrence within 10 years after an initial symptomatic stone episode. Therefore, interest has been raised in preventive strategies, aiming to modify the risk factors of stone recurrence by implementing dietary and lifestyle changes and specific medical treatments for stone formers, depending on their recurrence risk factors.

Methods: A total of 1015 hypertensive patients and coronary artery disease with left ventricular ejection fraction ≥ 40% were analyzed from 29 different centers in Turkey. Primary outcomes were the mean change in blood pressure and heart rate.
Background: We aimed to analyze the long-term clinical and lower urinary tract function outcomes in children with duplex system ectopic ureterocele who underwent ureteroneocystostomy and ureterocelectomy.
Methods: Fifty-one patients (28 females, 23 males) who underwent a series of surgical interventions including lower urinary tract reconstruction in childhood for duplex system ectopic ureterocele in our center between 1998 and 2019, were retrospectively reviewed. The demographic and clinical data, surgical history, and the indication for ureterocelectomy were noted.
Although stone disease is an important health problem with high incidence and recurrence rates, it is a preventable disease. Attitudes and practices of urologists regarding the prevention of recurrence continue to be a subject of debate. In this context, an online survey study was conducted involving 305 urologists from 57 different countries.

Purpose: To compare the outcomes of mini-percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mPCNL) and retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) in patients with renal stones sizing 2-3 cm.
Methods: A total of 566 patients from 6 institutions who underwent mPCNL (n = 440) and RIRS (n = 126) procedures were enrolled in our study. The retrospective patient cohort was reviewed and compared.
COVID-19 infection is known to increase mortality in patients with diabetes. We aim to demonstrate the differences in disease course and clinical outcomes of patients with COVID-19 regarding the presence of impaired fasting glucose, pre-existing diabetes mellitus (DM) or new-onset DM. 236 patients with positive reverse transcription-PCR tests for SARS-CoV-2 were included in this single-center, retrospective observational study between March 2020 and May 2021.
