Among the physicochemical parameters determined in these refineries effluents, the highest levels of heavy metals were recorded for the most toxic heavy metals Fe and Co. The fungal isolates under the isolation codes AHM69 and AHM96 isolated from the mycobiome of Mostorod and Tanta refineries, respectively showed the best bioremoval efficiency toward heavy metals from the real wastewater mixture and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from aqueous solutions.

Within fifty-one Streptomyces isolates evaluated for their hydrolytic enzymes and enzyme inhibitors productivities, six isolates showed the hyperactivities. Pharmaceutical metabolites productivities evaluated include enzymes (alkaline protease, L-asparaginase, L-glutaminase, tyrosinase, and L-methioninase) and enzyme inhibitors (inhibitors of α-amylase, hyaluronidase, β-lactamase, α-glucosidase, and β-glucosidase).

Moreover currently, bacterial L-asparaginase has been limited by problems of lower productivity, stability, selectivity and a number of toxicities along with the resistance towards bacterial L-asparaginase. Then the current work aimed to provide pure L-asparaginase with in-vitro efficacy against various human carcinomas without adverse effects related to current L-asparaginase formulations.

Microbial pathogens drive tumorigenesis in 20% of cancer cases, so the present study is aimed to evaluate the carcinogenic activities, sperm abnormalities and other dangerous effects of the subcutaneous injection of extracts obtained from various clinical Gram-negative bacteria derived from cancer patients using albino rats. We isolated, identified and extracted of their secondary metabolites of carbapenem resistant Gram-negative bacteria derived from cancer patients. Various methods have been used to determine hepatotoxicity, nephrotoxicity, tumorigenesis, inflammatory and sperm abnormalities in the albino rats injected with extracts.

The hyper-producing recombinant strain ALAA-R20 was obtained after applying protoplast fusion strategy between the potent producer marine endophytic strains Streptomyces sp. ESRAA-10 (P1) and Streptomyces sp.

Most of the isolates were found to be prolific producers of hydrolytic enzymes. Only 11 isolates exhibited maximum cellular contents of lipids, rhamnolipids, and protein in the fungal isolates under the isolation numbers MERVA5, MERVA22, MERVA25, MERVA29, MERVA32, MERVA34, MERV36, MERVA39, MERVA42, MERVA43, and MERVA44.

Genotypic (exoT, exoS, exoU, exoY, lasA, lasB, rhlA, rhlB, Pf1, PAGI-1, -2, and -3) and phenotypic (DNase, elastase, lipase, protease, siderophore, antibiotic resistance patterns) characteristics were determined. Out of these isolates, nine Pseudomonas isolates were selected as the hyperactive virulence factors producers along with highly resistant pattern against all antibiotics of different classes included in this study.

This investigation aimed to study the in vivo harmful effects of the subcutaneous injection of different methicillin resistance Staphylococcus aureus extracts (MRSA2, MRSA4, MRSA10, MRSA69, MRSA70, MRSA76, and MRSA78). Such strains represented the highest minimum inhibition concentration toward methicillin with various multidrug-resistant patterns. The obtained results revealed that rats injected with the MRSA4 extract died immediately after the last dose indicating the high cytotoxicity of MRSA4 strain (100% mortality).
