In this study, we aimed to assess the determining role of foetal fibronectin (FFN) and plasminogen activator inhibitor type (PAI-1) levels in the antenatal prediction of placenta accreta spectrum in cases with risk factors for placenta accreta spectrum. Singleton live pregnancies with placenta previa or low-lying placenta within 32-34 weeks of gestation were included in the study. The cases were divided into two groups after delivery as those with PAS and those with normal placentation.
