Aim Of The Work: We aimed to evaluate the impact of foot involvement in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) using the functional foot index (FFI) and to identify predictive factors of the functional impact of foot abnormalities in RA patients.

Patients And Methods: This was a cross-sectional study including patients with RA meeting the criteria of the American College of Rheumatology and the European League Against Rheumatism 2010. The main epidemiological data, results of podoscopic and clinical examination of the foot and ankle, biological tests and radiological findings were collected.

Contribution of bone mineral density in stress fractures of elite athletes.

Introduction: The stress fracture occurs in a healthy bone with a lack of adaptation to sustained, intensive and repetitive physical activity. However, bone mineral density is strongly correlated with bone strength and fractures may occur more easily on osteoporotic bone.

Aim: To evaluate the bone densitometric profile of elite athletes with a history of stress fracture and to determine the interest in preventing this type of fracture.

Predictors of renal outcomes in anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody glomerulonephritis.

Glomerulonephritis associated with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) vasculitis still has a high prevalence of end-stage renal disease (ESRD), particularly in patients with advanced renal failure at presentation. This study aims to evaluate the clinical and histo- pathological features of renal involvement and investigate factors associated with ESRD. Patients with renal biopsy-proven ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis were included retrospectively over a period of nine years (June 2007 to March 2016).

Etiological Features of Liver Involvement in Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Background: Liver involvement is not considered a typical extra-articular manifestation and has rarely been studied in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). We aimed to identify the prevalence and aetiologies of liver disease in RA patients.

The disease occurs as an endemic problem in some parts of the world and is the result of prolonged ingestion or rarely by inhalation of high amounts of fluoride. Radiographic presentation is mainly characterized by bone changes with osteocondensation and later ossification of many ligaments and interosseous membranes.
