Infusions of leaves have been known for their health benefits. The Bio Concentrate Assets (ABC) method is a method of enriching organic infusion leaves (from ) with organic dry and concentrated extracts using organic acacia gum, and its application to white tea has provided Qi cha tea. In the present study, the content of tea polyphenols and caffeine, and the biochemical properties of Qi cha tea and its botanical constituents (elderberry, tulsi, , orange peel, lemongrass, and acacia gum) were assessed.

In vitro assays were established to assess their numerous biological activities (anti-α-amylase, anti-acetylcholinesterase, anti-xanthine oxidase, anti-superoxide dismutase, and anticancer cell lines (HCT-116, MCF7, OVCAR-3, IGROV-1, and SKOV-3 cells lines)). An in silico docking study was also established in order to find the relationship between the chemical structure and the biological activities.

Due to these functions, hepatotoxicity continues to be among the main threats to public health, and they remain problems throughout the world. Therefore, the present study was designed to evaluate the antioxidant and hepatoprotective effects of Cedrelopsis grevei leaves against cypermethrin (Cyp) induced oxidative stress and liver damage in male mice.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA phytochemical investigation of the Tunisian plant Acacia cyclops pods led to the isolation of two new monoterpenoid glycosides, which have been designated Cyclopside 1 and Cyclopside 2. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic procedures including IR, MS and 2D-NMR. The cytotoxic effect of the isolates was also evaluated in vitro against the human breast cancer (MCF-7) and ovarian cancer (OVAR) cell lines.
