Using acupuncture for acute pain in hospitalized children.

Objective: Clinical study to determine the acceptability and feasibility of acupuncture for acute postoperative pain control in hospitalized children.

Design: Nonrandomized clinical trial.

Setting: A single, tertiary referral pediatric intensive care unit.
