Purpose: To investigate differences in left ventricular wall thickness (LVWT) measurements between end-diastole and mid-diastole using cardiac computed tomography (CCT) and establish LVWT reference values stratified by phase, sex, and region.
Methods: Subjects who underwent CCT without a history of cardiovascular disease or risk factors were retrospectively included between 2021 and 2024. LVWT was manually measured in each segment according to the American Heart Association's 17-segment model at end-diastole and mid-diastole.
The tectonic of the Middle and Late Ordovician in the western margin of the north China Platform is complex, and the accumulation models of organic matter of the Wulalike Formation formed during this period are still unclear. Total organic carbon (TOC) content, mineral composition, organic carbon isotope composition, as well as the major and trace elements in the shale samples were all measured in this study. The Wulalike Formation was formed during a tectonic transition from a passive continental margin to an active continental margin.

We evaluated the adenoviral delivery of engineered membrane-stable CD40L (MEM40) and IFNβ to locally activate cDCs in mouse tumor models. Starting from the formulation of the theory of four-wave mixing, we show a theoretical model for a generated optical field with the consideration of the Raman scattering and a Gaussian-distributed pump. The theoretical model is then applied for deriving the closed expressions of the photon-pair spectral properties as a function of the fiber birefringence.
